Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology also known as VESIT or V.E.S. Institute of Technology was established in 1984.

Motivating the students to undertake innovative projects
How to convert research ideas into proposal for funded project
To create a bridge among researchers, industries and academic institutions through exchange of knowledge and ideas
To review and asses current issues related to society and industries through engineering solutions
How to formulate research idea for ME/ M.Tech/ PhD
Technical talks on contemporary research and recent trends in technology and science

Placement:

The 10 students recruited by J.P Morgan Chase
VESIT had organized two hour session on “Resume Writing, Preparing Cover Letter, HR Round Interview and Group discussion and Corporate Grooming & Etiquette” for final year students

Extra-curricular Activities:

Students of VESIT are given a chance to showcase their leadership and team work skills through a variety of student bodies, both technical and non-technical
Student bodies regularly conduct seminars, workshops, events and different activities to keep students motivated even outside the classrooms
VESIT also has student chapters of IEEE, Computer Society of India, ISTE and ISA and the VESIT Entrepreneurship Cell

Facilities:

Library	Library contains over 35000 books, E-journals-IEEE, Springer, McGraw Hill, It has the 400+ seating capacity.
Labs	49 Well equipped Laboratories for different branches of engineering students.

Festivals:

Technical Festival - Praxis

VESIT annually organizes a technical festival called 'Praxis'. Praxis consists of various technically oriented competitions like, Gamers Arena (LAN Gaming), Dalal Street (Stock Market Simulation), technical paper presentations, Open Hardware and Open Software competitions and Robotics
It also organizes fun events like the treasure hunt and crystal maze. Praxis-VESIT also publishes a magazine named "Mindscape"

Cultural Festival - Utsav

VESIT organizes a cultural festival every year in spring, called Utsav
All the classes compete against each other in a wide range of cultural and literary activities to gain points. The class having scored the maximum points by the end is declared winner
