NDRK First Grade College, Hassan, Karnataka, aims to provide professionalism among the students keeping in view of the present day's needs and creating an environment for the promotion of our Culture and Heritage. It offers Degree Courses of Arts, Commerce, Business Management and Science. • Research, Consultancy and Extension- The College supports participation of teachers and motivating staff to use their expertise to offer consultancy and students in extension activities. Extension activities in the broad areas of Health and Hygiene awareness, AIDS awareness, Environmental awareness, Adult Education and Literacy, Social Work, Medical Camps, Blood Donation Camps have been carried out along with aim of further promoting research.
• Learning Programme and Incentive- Health check-ups, lectures on Health and Hygiene and awareness programme are organised by the college. Outstanding sport persons are given encouragement cash incentives and mementoes.
• Student Support and Progression- More than 100 students have benefited from the scholarship schemes during the past 2 years. Games, Debate Clubs, Cultural Programmes, Student Magazine, Annual Excursions etc., provide recreational  and  leisure time avenues for the students.
• Placement Cell- Many leading companies visited the college for campus recruitment. Since last five years the Infosys BPO Ltd. and In the last five years 104 students got recruited in ICICI Bank, Infosys and top organization.
