About College

Swami Ramananda Tirtha Institute of Science and Technology was established in year 1996 with the motto to  provide a high quality education to the students of the surrounding region in particular. It was the first engineering college in the district and is one of the earliest private affiliated colleges of JNTU.

The college provides many facilities to serve the students so that the students can grow in best possible environment and achieve their goal with continuous effort and hard work. Spacious well-designed ventilated classrooms, well equipped laboratories are some facilities provided to help the students in achieving their goal. Excellent hostel facilities exclusively for about 500 girls are provided on non-profitable basis.

The college has accomplished a remarkable growth in the past 17 years. Initially in the year 1996 when the college was established, the intake was 140, which has now increased to 1092 including all levels.

SRTIST enjoys the reputation of being one of the best engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh and the first Engineering College in Nalgonda District.
