About College

Sri Venkateswara Engineering College for Women is one of the constituent institute of SV Group of colleges. It was established in 2009. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantpur and is recognized by AICTE, New Delhi.

The college emphasizes on the fact that “ Education is the most important means to empower the women” . the college helps the women in enlightening their skills and self-confidence. SVEW is working with the motto to provide a superior quality of higher education to the women of the region.

SVEW provides new oppourtunity from time to time so as to empower its students. The college focuses mainly on the graduate students who will pursue paths as skilled and innovative individuals and professionals, service-oriented leaders, and promoters of tolerance and understanding throughout the world.

With a student body of approximately 2,000 women at full capacity and a target student/faculty ratio of 13:1, SVEW is designed to be a relatively small but diverse institution that will ensure the full education of each student.
