Might be one of the best choice you ever had in lifetime .The placement at SKCET are really incredible after it became autonomous, More than 90% of students land up in top notch brand companies that offer both internships and full time opportunities
They provide government scholarship, they just asks us to provide the necessary xerox and details.
The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 . The faculty at the college is above average. Most of them are aligned towards completion of curriculum. However certain faculties are really good and known for their research work, innovation and motivation towards learning practically from the subject. However all of this depends on you , how you utilise
The college is really huge and beautiful. It has a great facilities to offer . SKCET library is one of the best library in INDIA. It has large discussion rooms for group studies and conference
I was not staying in the hostel. But heard that hostel has awesome facilities .

The Eligibility criteria would be 195 plus cut-off in Higher secondary exam and admission process takes place through a single window counselling conducted by Tamil Nadu Government. Required cut-off varies year by year.
Read Full ReviewThe college has made tie up with CII fostering internships for third year students in various industries. But the negative thing is that only the top students get selected here and the rest have to search by themselves. Placements have been improved after our batch and it is good for Computer departments. For Mechanical it is getting good but the scenario is not good and companies recruit only few students. Notable companies like Asahi Glass, Hyundai, Sundaram Fasteners are the major recruiters and salary varies from 4 Lakhs to 2 Lakhs. But On-Campus Placement is the only hope for Mechanical students and still placement section has to be improved.
It is an Autonomous college and fees are structured by the management itself. Fees submission process is through direct bank payment within the college premises. Loan facility is available to required students. Scholarships are available to students belonging to certain section of society and it is available every year.
Academics were good and the classes are equipped with Google Digital Classroom. Syllabus has to be improved by introducing new and latest concepts. Technologies that are being used in industries and are important interms of research aspects. Regular upgradation has to be done which seems to be lagging. Practical knowledge about the subjects are provided but still much effort has to be taken by college to make it as a part of everyday curriculum so as to impart new techniques and stay updated. Faculty in Mechanical Department are well experienced and are knowledgeable in their respective fields except few faculty. Some faculty are very student friendly and they are available for help in academic as well as in non academic things. Those faculty not only help in enhancing your knowledge in academics but also in personal life.
Sri Krishna has one of the best infrastructure in Tamil Nadu and as an Alumni, I wanted to thank them for the natural and green environment being maintained in well disciplined manner. The College has one of the best library with plenty of books both technical and non-technical combined with journals and E-books. The atmosphere is good and makes it fresh and lively. Laboratories are good but still requires improvement in buying new machines and equipments and latest technologies being made available to students for practical demonstration. Sports are fine but requires improvement. Gym facility is good but additional gym arena has to be introduced to accommodate more people. Wifi is available only in labs and not throughout the campus which has to be included.
The quality of food provided in the college canteen is good. Anandhas is available and other small food outlets are also present. But the food pricing seems to be high and can be reduced. Only Vegetarian food is available in the college and being a Dayscholar I'm unaware of the food being served at the Hostel. But the quality and Hygiene of mess is not bad not good. Cleanliness is maintained properly at all times. Rooms are well furnished but the hostel fees seems to be high.

Not bad..If you want to get placed trust on your own effort
Not bad..But i don't think the college experience is worth the fee paid
Knowledge is what you learn by yourself. You are valued for the cgpa that you get in first sem which will be eventually maitained throughout the course. Don't rely on faculty or anything. Learn in your own
Very big library.Good gym..Good infrastructure
Not appreciable. Food is okay..
