Silver Oak College of Engineering and Technology (SOCET) was established in the year 2009. The college is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University and approved by AICTE. The college offers Undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various field of Engineering

• Thalesemia: The college organizes a Blood Donation Camp under Thalesemia

• Junoon- It is a cultural festival in which the college organizes activities like theatrical, musical, dancing, literary, fine arts etc.
• Talaash- It is a technical festival in which national level events like Robotics, Paper presentation, LAN gaming, Blind C, Model making etc. are organised

Scholarship Scheme (2014-2015):

• Awarded 100% tuition fee waiver for first two years (2014 and 2015) or 50% tuition fee waiver for all four years (2014 to 2018) ,whose merit number is less than and equal to 1000
• Awarded 100% tuition fee waiver for first year (2014), whose merit number IS 1001 to 3000
• Awarded 50% tuition fee waiver for first year (2014), whose merit number is more than & equal to3001 and less than and equal to 5000
