About College
Sengunthar Engineering College, Namakkal was started in 2001 by Sengunthar Charitable Trust registered in 1995. Its aim is to accomplish distinction in Engineering and Technological pursuits. It provides enhanced Hands-on Training, well-established infrastructure to bring out the hidden sparks from the students to mould them as entrepreneurs of high order. It is built in an area of 60 acres of land near foothills of Nagagiri.
- It is situated at Kosavampalayam at a distance of 3 km from Tiruchengode on the Tiruchengode-Namakkal State Highway
- It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education

Events:
- SYMPOSIUM – It is an annual event to be held by student of different departments of the college
Awards:
- Girls Boxing Team was awarded Overall Championship & 3 Gold medals, 4 Silver medals, 2 Bronze medals at the event held at Chennai.
- Boys Boxing Tem won 2 Gold medals, 1 Silver medal and 1 Bronze medal at Inter – zonal level Boxing and an ‘Overall Championship’ winner prize.
- Boys Cricket & Volley ball Team won Bronze medals in Zonal level tournament.
- College Boys Basket ball Team won Bronze medal among the 10 Colleges.
