About College
Saraswati Institute of Engineering & Technology (SIET), Ghaziabad was started by Lt Col. (Dr.) T. S Mathur in 2008. It is a unit of Saraswati Group of Educational Institutes. It takes effort in providing quality technical education through realistic simulated methods to produce dedicated & responsible professionals who can cope up with industry requirements.
- It is located on Lucknow – Kanpur Highway; NH – 24 and is 40 km away from the city of Lucknow.
- It is built in an area of 20 acres of land
- It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi
- It is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow & Board of Technical Education, Lucknow
Extra Curricular Activities:
- Corporate Interaction Cell – Its purpose is to provide assistance & guidance to students in achieving employment in industry as well as industrial training. It organizes Seminars, Symposia and lectures of eminent corporate executives, academicians on a regular basis. It also arranges workshops on various topics in Management, Engineering & Pharmacy etc.
- An ‘Entrepreneurship Development Cell’ is being established in the college with the assistance of AICTE
- SCOSE (Department of computer Science & Engg.)– It is a student society that conducts seminars, technical quiz & other co – curricular activities.
- SELCO (Department of Electronics & Communication) – It is a student society that regularly organizes seminars, technical quiz, paper presentation & other co – curricular activities.
