Saintgits College of Engineering, Kottayam was established in 2002 under Mar Gregorios Educational Society. It is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The mission of the college is to educate and train boys and girls for leadership in industry and research through career-oriented courses in engineering, management and sciences, emphasizing on development of self-confidence with versatility of mind, thus preparing the individual for a life-time of learning and professional growth. It is located at Pathamuttom village in the district of Kottayam in Kerala. Pathamuttom is well connected to the rest of the world by Kochi International Airport (101 km) and Kottayam Railway station (13 km).
