Sai Vidya Institute of Technology (SVIT), Bangalore was started by the efforts of Sri Sai Vidya Shikshana Samithi in 2008. The trust was founded by Prof M.R. Holla. The institute is approved by AICTE (New Delhi) & recognized by Government of Karnataka. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (Belgaum).

Hostel
  • 2 separate hostels for boys & girls
  • Girl’s hostel is 3 floor building of 50 rooms accommodating 3 girls in every room
  • Boy’s hostel is 4 storied building of 100 rooms accommodating 300 students altogether

Transport

The institute runs a fleet of 10 buses covering different parts of Bangalore to carry staff & students

  • Rs 10,000/- for VTU exam toppers in their respective Class/Branch
  • Rs 8,000/- for students getting 2nd position in VTU exams in their respective Class/Branch
  • Rs 1250/- worth of books for students scoring 3 to 10 top positions in VTU exams in their respective Class/Branch
  •  Rs 2000/- worth of cash for students winning Prizes, Awards & Representations  in VTU/State/National level competition
  • Suitable Fee concessions for students coming under BPL families on Poor cum Merit basis
