SV National Institute of Technology came into existence in the year 1961 and since then it has been imparting high quality technical education in the Mechanical, Civil and Electrical Engineering fields. UG Programs in Electrical Engineering was added in the year 1983-84. In the year 2002, it was conferred a status of Deemed University. In 2007, it was also declared as an Institute of National Importance. Presently, there are 6 UG, 18 PG and 3 M Sc 5 Years Integrated Programs are available. Today, this Institute has not only become a nationally renowned but also an internationally renowned technical institution. Suitable manpower is trained to meet the ever changing demands of technology. Students can also undertake research projects and go for doctoral programs.
