SSM College of Engineering (SSMCE), Komarapalayam was established in 1998. The college is recognized as one of the best engineering colleges in South India. The aim of the college is to proliferate challenging technical professionals and equipping them with the knowledge & skills to make a successful entry into the technological arena and also to bring out the hidden innovative skills to benefit the society, the nation & the world at large.

- Y’s Youth Club- To encourage youth to promote the high ideals of service of the YMCA and to involve themselves actively in service activities to the YMCA and community with YM
- Fine Arts and Music Club- It is a voluntary organization dedicated to the promotion of Indian Classical Music, Carnatic, RAP & creative skills amongst the students
