Meenakshi College for Women is a Government–aided institution that was established in 1975 for providing higher education for women. The college is affiliated to the University of Madras and has been a pioneer in the field of higher education for more than 3 decades.
The Collegeoffers 39 different courses in the Arts, Science, and Commerce, including under-graduate, post-graduate courses, M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses. The mission of the college is to provide quality higher education and sustain academic excellence and to provide all the physical, human and technological infrastructure for effective learning process.
