About College
Rewa Engineering College Rewa (MP) formerly known as Government Engineering College or GEC Rewa, was established by the Govt. of MP in 1964. It is presently an associated college of Rajiv Gandhi Technical University Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
REC Rewa is recognized as a the pioneer of the engineering education in the Vindhya regionand one of the leading institutes in the state of Madhya Pradesh consistently during its glorious journey of fifty years.
REC, Rewa offers B.E. Degree Courses in four disciplines namely - Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics.
Apart from spacious class rooms and well equipped laboratories, the campus of the institute encompasses boys hostels, girls hostels and faculty quarters. Institute has a central library which has vast collection of books,and a large number of subscribed online and print journals.
In addition, institute also houses various amenities such as Play ground, Indoor Sports, a branch of State Bank of India, Post oFfice, Canteen, Common Rooms, Conference rooms and office of Alumni Association.
The college is also priviledged to have a Center of Excellence For Microsoft Technologies established under the CM's declaration and MOU signed between Microsoft Corporation and Rewa Engineering College, Rewa.

It has a campus of 250 acres. It has four branches of engineering namely civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and electronics engineering. The faculties are well educated. The college has its solar panel system which serves the electricity purpose of many college tasks. It is also rich in laboratories, it has almost all the labs students would ever need. Overall it's a great place.
