About College

Pune Institute of Computer Technology (PICT), Pune  was the first institute to introduce a Computer Engineering branch among private colleges in the Maharashtra state.

• It was established by the Society for Computer Technology and Research in 1983
• It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to University of Pune
• The college is accredited by NAAC and is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institute
• PICT aspires to be the leader in technical education and research of international repute

Research:

• Research Domain Education, Information, Communication, Visualization and Virtualization
• confluence of state-of-art research and innovation to promote professionalism in technological research
• To acquire and adopt research infrastructure and skills by Learning, Innovation and Consultancy practices

Co-curricular Activities:

• The PICT ACM Student  PASC is established with a goal to provide students an exposure to cutting edge computing technologies and ideas
• IEEE, a non-profit organization. PCIT IEEE mission of promoting the engineering profession for the benefit of humanity and the profession
• Impetus and Concept commonly known as INC, is an intra-college project competition and concept is inter-collegiate national level competition. It is a technical fest of 3 days consisting of around 5 different events with the prize money of over 7 lakhs
