About College

Pillai Institute of Information Technology, Engineering, Media Studies and Research (PIIT) was established in 1999.PIIT an engineering college in New Panvel, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The Institute offers both undergraduate (Bachelor of Engineering) and postgraduate (Masters in Engineering) programs

• Vision of the college is “To educate and train for engineering graduation a diverse population of students who are academically prepared to benefit from the Institute's infrastructure and faculty experience, to become responsible professional in a technical arena”
• Mission if the college is “To develop professional engineers with respect for the environment and make them responsible citizens in technological development both from an Indian and global perspective”
• PIIT is established on 16 acre of lush green campus with 2, 30,000 sq. ft. of built up area
• PIIT seeks to develop in its students a sound technical foundation and to enhance the natural curiosity of its engineers

• Utsav- It is a cultural festival   organized annually by our students. Students also regularly participate in technical competitions conducted in other Institutions
• Alegria - Festival of Joy is a huge festival of PIIT. It is one of the biggest college fest in Navi Mumbai.
