About College
Orissa Engineering College (OEC) was established in 1986. The college is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) and has been approved by AICTE. OEC college offers UG and PG courses in the field of technology. It also offers Master in Business Administration
- The students are admitted in UG programme & PG Programme through Entrance test i.e joint entrance examination (jee)orissa & all india engineering entrance examination(aieee) through central counselling conducted by state government
- The college is sprawling over an area of 58 acres on the outskirts of the temple city of Bhubaneswa
- The College has received National Accreditation for 3 Departments viz. Electronics and Telecommunications, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering by National Board of Accreditation

- Quizzotica- It is an annual Open Quiz Competition
Facilities:
- Library- OEC has centralized digital library. It has 25000 books and subscribes to DELNET through which students and faculty can get access to more than 200 libraries in India and abroad
- Student Activity Centre- It is an auditorium with seating capacity of 3000 students
Festivals:
- Zazen- It is annual tech-fest in which various activities are organised like paper presentation, wet paint, robotics, business related events, gaming, enovation, electrical & electronics related events etc.
- Zephyr- It is annual festival in which events like rodies, song & music, fashion show, drama by students and staffs, t-shirt painting, rock band etc. are organised
