Nehru Institute of Technology (NIT), Coimbatore is a part of Nehru Group of Institutions was established in 2008 under Nehru Group of Educational and Charitable Trust. It is affiliated to Anna University, Coimbatore and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is a 9001:2000 Certified Institute. The vision of the institute is to be the world class centre of excellence in Engineering and Technology to contribute for the national development through value based quality education, research and technological services.

The auditorium has excellent acoustics with a seating capacity of 300 people. It is further more equipped with a sound system, amplifiers & a hitech sound craft mixer. |

The college have 02 air conditioned seminar halls in the campus, A block Seminar Hall with seating capacity of 150 persons and B block Seminar Hall with seating capacity of 800 persons. |
