About College
Bhairab Ganguly College was established in 1968. The aim of the college is to provide the local students with the quality education. The college was named after late grandfather of Jibandhan Ganguly as Bhairab Ganguly College. The college is currently affiliated to West Bengal State University

- It became a Government sponsored college and was recognized under section 2(F) and 12 (b) of the UGC Act

- Debate club- A debate club has been formed in the college which involve students and teachers to organize debates on various issues of social and global importance
- Nataraj- It is the dance club of the college to give students an outlet to get together. The aim is to promote dance among aspirant student and bring school spirit
- Photography Club- There is a photography club in the college. In this club teachers, non-teaching staff and students have joined with great interest and arranged an exhibition-cum-competition of photography
- Nature Club- It is the club for the nature lovers with the aim to aware people about nature, protection of enviroment

- Students health insurance is provided to the students with the New India Assurance company
- There is annual premium of Rs. 10 per student which covers medical expenses upto Rs. 20000

The college has a well built auditorium with the seating capacity of 400 students
