About College
Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College (MSEC) is located in the busy area of Kodambakkam. The college is located on the main road itself making it highly accessible. There are many MTC buses plying by Kodambakkam. Students mostly travel by these buses. The nearest railway station is Kodambakkam.
The college was established in 2001 but buildings look quite old and ancient. The classrooms are comfortable and labs are well equipped. There are 3 buildings for engineering. The campus isn’t Wi-Fi enabled but internet can be accessed from any of the computer lab. Students are happy with the library and find it well stocked.
Hostel rooms are neat and clean. There are 2 or 3 people in a room. The mess food is decent; better than many of the other colleges. The hostel fees is about Rs 12,000 per year.
Sport grounds and facilities are available but students are not allowed to use during the college hours. The grounds are usually used only by the members of the college teams.

Pranav 2014 A national level technical symposium held by civil engineering department of meenakshi sundararajan engineering college on February 15th . It is the most awaited event having many brain storming technical events and nail biting surprising events. Lots of prizes are to be won and lots are fun are awaiting. Technical events in the festival are like papers poster, model making, town planning ,technical treasure hunt, material abstract, technical problem and solution. |
