Madhira Institute of Technology & Science was established in 2001. It is one of the top colleges of choice for the students of Technology and Management studies. It offers under graduate courses in various specializations and post graduate courses. It also offers computer Application and management courses. The Sprawling 40 acre MITS Campus is located at Madhira Nagar, Chilkur.

• A Digital library with 33 computers and Video conferencing facility through SONET is also provided to the student

Hostel

The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The Boy’s hostel is located in campus and girl’s hostel in Kodad, SC & ST hostel at Kodad transportation is provided for the students.

Events

• T.A.E:  Technical Association of Electronics was started by ECE department and organizes the state level and national level technical events
• Paryavaranam: It is a faculty orientation program
• ACCOLADE: It is state level annual technical symposium
