About College

MAM College of Engineering is constituent of M.A.M. Group of Institutions. It was established in the year 1999 with the approval of Tamilnadu Government. The college is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in various field of Engineering. It also offers Master course in Management and Computer Applications

• The college is certified with ISO 9001-2008
• The administration of the college is done by 3 committees, namely, Managing Committee, Governing Council, and Technical Advisory Committee
• The college has formed M.A.M Research Development and Design Center to catalyse proactive applied research to solve industry's technical problems and is positioned to address and contribute to the market and society needs.
• The college is located 23km from Tiruchirappalli and 8 km from Samayapuram. Having situated on the National Highway it is easily accessible from Airport and Railway Station
• The college has an area of 52182 sq.m. and consists of 30 Professor, 51 Associate Professor and 147 Assistance Professor

• NCC- NCC of the college organizes various events like Tree plantation ceremony, Anti Tobacco awareness program, Sanitation program. Cadets are trained by conducting theory classes on Map reading, First Aid, Weapon Training etc., and practical classes such as Drill, Games, Physical fitness, Firing, Tent Pitching etc., in order to motivate their abilities
• NSS- NSS of the college organizes various social activities like Blood Donation Camp, Eye Donation Awareness Rally, Green Tiruchirappalli Rally, Pongal Celebration With Foreigners, Forest Day Celebration, Short Films to create awareness social issues  etc.
• Finearts Club- This club has won various prizes in inter-collegiate competitions
• Red Ribbon Club- Red Ribbon Club participated in programmes such as NHIV/AIDS awareness programme, One Day Zonal Level Orientation Programme, cultural competitions at the university level under the banner of ‘Ilavattam-2010 etc.
• Rotaract Club - Rotaract Club of MAM College of Engineering have attended a Rotaract District Assembly of Rotary International District 3000 entitled"BLOSSOM 2010". About 150 Rotaractors from Rotaract Club of MAMCE have participated in the public program entitled “Mega Blood Awareness Human Rally & Mass Blood Donation Campaign”
