About College
Kalyani Government Engineering College is the outcome of the efforts, dreams, and aspirations of all those people who were involved in this mission to give the best to the students. The faculty are into educational background from last many years. Past students are placed in top technical and corporate houses is a testimony to their endeavor in imparting top quality education to the students.
Engulfed in a sea of green, a blue sky and heaps of fresh air, the college stands as a premiere institute of engineering in West Bengal and also in India with a particularly healthy environment for the mind as well as the body. Being not far from the railway station makes the college easily accessible to the new students and visitors. The college comprises of three buildings- SNB, MSB and JCB.

Scholarship Offered to Students :
- 10% of the students are awarded full free scholarship.
- 10% of the students are awarded half free scholarship
- SC/ST Minority students are awarded scholarships by State Government.
- Scholarship are also granted under backward welfare scheme of the Government.
- West Bengal Government Merit-cum-means Schoarship are awarded by the State Government.
- CSIR, SAIL, NTPC, P&T and many State Government Organizations offer awards & scholarship to the students of this institution.
Criteria for Fee Waivers/Scholarship :
- For Full Free Scholarship & Half Free Scholarship students, the family income should not exceed Rs.2.5 Lakhs per annum.
- Scholarship for backward classes, the family income should not exceed Rs.90,000/- per annum.
- For other organizational insist scholarship, as per organizational rules.
