About College

Kalicharan Nigam Institute of Technology was established in the year 2002 under the sponsorship of Banda Education Center with stress on providing excellent technical education to engineering students.  College is running with the affiliation of Uttar Pradesh Technical University and with approval of AICTE, New Delhi. It is recognized by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh.

Facilities:

• Library: College has centrally air conditioned library equipped with 20000 books on various disciplines of engineering that can cater the requirement of students. Library also subscribes international and national journals for updating the technical knowledge of students and faculties. Library has a spacious reading room with a capacity of 500 users. Library is also a member of DELNET through which students can access various e-books and e-journals.
• Hostels: College complex provides accommodation facilities to both boys and girls separately.  Hostels rooms are provided on single and twin sharing basis.
• Computer Center: College has state of art air conditioned computer center with 500 computers and / Compaq/wipro/IBM/ servers connected in LAN with internet facilities.

Events and Festivals:

• Tarang: It is cultural fest of the college where students participate in various activities like dancing, singing, drama, etc.
