Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya, Kolkata was founded in Monirampore under Barrackpore Sub-division of North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, by Late Swami Jyotirmoyananda Giri Maharaj. It was established on 15^th August, 1968. Right from the inception, the entire staff members have put in their soul for the betterment of the institution. When it comes to scaling up the whole progress, one can make a mark that all of their efforts made it an enormous success. The vision of the college is to spread scientific education on a large scale and to owe to this vision that can be scaled, the idea of a college was pitched in. The college has delivered all the ideals of excellence in true earnest.
