Global Academy Technology is a privately owned un-aided engineering college that was established in 2001. Managed under the National Education Foundation, GAT is a renowned college of Karnataka. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It is also recognized by the Government of Karnataka.
The campus of the college is located off Mysore Road, Ideal Homes Township, Raja Rajeshwari Nagar, Bangalore, Karnataka. It has also signed MOUs with Infosys, L&T, EMC2, RV-VLSI, ACE, and SAE for training, skill development, guest lectures, etc.

      Like the title describes, don't go on expecting a lot. The campus is good but the location isn't! There are no good places nearby to hangout with friends(except for canteen, which is surprisingly good). Now coming over to the academics, my department(EC) is quite good. The lecturers are quite the taskmasters even though they are quite lacking in knowledge.
