About College

East West Institute of Technology was established in 2001 in India. Governed by the East West Group of Institutions, it is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technological University (VTU), Bangalore, Karnataka and is AICTE, New Delhi approved. Departments of the EWIT college includes Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Civil Engineering, Basics Science, Business Administration, Computer Application, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

EWIT is located on the 20 acres of the lush green campus on Off Magadi Road, Vishwaneedam in Bangalore, Karnataka and approximately 10 KM from the city. The institution has over 13,000 text and references books and 4000 electronic journals for students as well as staffs. Playgrounds fro various sports activities, college canteen, internet facility and separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available.

Hostels: College has separate hostels for boys and girls. College has incampus boys hostel and girls hostel in the city close to head office. Hostels provide quality food through mess. There are indoor and outdoor facilities also available.

Festival: AAKRITI- It is inter college annual day and cultural fest in which students take place activities like cultural events and technical quiz.
