Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering & Technology (MCET), an autonomous institution was established in 1998 to commemorate the 75th Birthday of this great visionary Arutchelvar Dr. N. Mahalingam. It is a self-financing educational institution situated in Pollachi, Coimbatore District. It offers value-added education to empower the student profile.  It is affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. It is accredited by NAAC with an A grade and NBA.
