Delhi Engineering College was established in the year 2009 under the sponsorship of Shri Tilak Raj Dhawan Education and Charitable Trust in order to impart quality technical education. DEC blends both human learning ethos and the professional skills  on the platform.

Library: college has central library which has good collection with over 6000+ books. Library also subscribes various journals, periodicals and news papers. It also subscribes various popular online journals which students can have access.

Hostels: Separate hostels for both girls and boys are available. Hostels have mess, indoor games, and emergency power back-up facilities.

Festivals: ALTEEZE- it is two days techno cultural fest conducted by college in order to provide platform to students to showcase their talent.
