Dsce takes students from comedk kcet and management quota. Aspirants from both the exams need to have a good ranking overall to be eligible for this college as it ranks high among the colleges specifically in Bangalore. Admission process is simple through college counseling for both the exams. For admission through management quota you can reach out to me.
Read Full ReviewThe college didnt allow for internships usually till the2016 as the department and the management are too preachy about students attending classes. A good amount of stress is given on students maintaining 75% of attendance. But talking about placements the records are better than many of the top notch engineering colleges in india. Being present in the it hub Bangalore it enjoys a agood variety of well paying companies coming over for recruitment. With attractive packages in all salary slabs.
I have never heard of any kind of loan facility or scholarship for general students. A scholarship is given to St sc and obc students through some kind of procedure which will be known to you when you apply through kcet ONLY. The fee is comparatively high for comedk students and moderately high for kcet students when seen in respect to other engineering colleges in Bangalore.
Moderately good in academics and the quality of faculty. The knowledge provided is very mainstream when under vtu but these days when the college is turning into a deemed University the management is working hard to provide a holistic course of engineering with good amount of both practical and theoretical knowledge. As far as faculty is concerned except a few most of lectures are moderately good but nothing brilliant sort of. But if you ask me true engineering happens outside the classrooms so this shouldn't affect your final decision much
Infrastructure is brilliant. with all the labs library sports etc.You will enjoy a large campus in a pristine location of Bangalore with easily accessible stores and amenities around
food services are not that great but you can get good food around that area outside the campus. NRI hostel is brilliant but Indian hostel has nothing great about it. Girls hostel is moderately good but wouldn't enjoy the ambience of the boys nri hostel.

Fee is high compared to other private colleges in India. Not aware of any scholarship.
Regular classes, good teaching. Depends on student
No Gym or wifi. Good infrastructure.
Average. Two types of hostel. difficult to get normal one, other one is costly.

Read Full ReviewTop 50 placements to various big names like adobe, musigma, continental, national instruments, etc.. Mass recruitment companies like infosys, wipro, igate, Accenture, Tech MAHINDRA, Tcs, etc for the rest of the batch
Fees via dd or cheque. Loan available.. Little or no scholarship for general students. Fees on the higher side for comedk students.
Classes are regular. Attendance is 85%. Faculty is decent. Focus is on more theoretical stuff. Labs are well equipped. Lab staff are helpful.
College is wifi enabled. Very Decent infrastructure. One of the best infrastructure in Bangalore Engineering colleges. Hostels are really good, canteens are nice. Football field, Basketball court, amphi theatre are all very well constructed
Well furnished rooms, good quality food.
How is the college atmosphere ?
It feels good to be in Dayananda Sagar college of engineering with a very good campus atmosphere. It's probably the best college in Bangalore with the best infrastructure. College timetable feels heavier for a student who comes here to enjoy. The teaching staff is still little inexperienced except few teachers who teach really good. Hostel facilities are excellent.
