About College
Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology was established with a vision of providing international standard education to cater the needs of the surrounding rural populance under CREDS (Sri Channabasaveshwara Swamy Rural Education Society) in 2001. CIT institution is AICTE, New Delhi and Government of Karnataka recognized with the certification acquired from ISO 9001:2008.
Campus of the CIT is located in a sprawling area adjoining the NH 206 (B.H. Road), Tumkur near Bangalore. On campus facility includes a huge and spacious library with online access to e-resources on various topic, over 750 computer system, wi-fi enabled campus, classrooms spread across 3 buildings that can accommodate 80 students in each room, auditorium and boardroom, well-furnished hostel rooms for boys and girls, hygienic cafeteria, 26 dedicated buses to pickup students and staffs from different locations.
Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology aims at providing and enhancing the quality of professional leaders to the society through their high quality technical and professionally relevant education.

Auditorium: A well-furnished auditorium with a seating capacity of 500 students is available in the college that is also utilized for guest lectures, seminars and other cultural events in the college.
Hostels: No-ragging environment based hostel facility is also available for boys and girls separately. Warden managed boys hostel is located on-campus where as for girls off-campus facility is available.

How is the Admission Process and placement service in Channabasaveshwara Institute of Technology (CIT)?

According to my rank this college was good atleast resultwise. The admission process was very easy , we needed to fulfil a form and submit my original document for 1 year. College management should be more active about placements, they have to bring more company because at the end of the day all.
