Chalapathi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Guntur was started in the year 2007 under the aegis of Chalapathi Educational Society with an objective to promote proper education which is useful for society. College is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University and is approved by AICTE.

Library: College has well stocked library with huge collection of books and subscribed national and international journals. Library has subscribed to 56 journals. Apart from printed resource library also has good collection of digital information media.
Hostels: There are separate hostels for boys and girls in the campus. The hostels have excellent standard of living with security. Mess is available in the hostels which provide good hygienic food.
