About College
Buddha Institute of Technology (BIT), Gorakhpur was established in 2009 under People Educational Society. It is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is approved by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), New Delhi and Government of Uttar Pradesh. The Institute is spread over 14 acres of Eco friendly land. Institute has built up area of more than 2 Lac sq. ft. It is situated along Gorakhpur- Lucknow National Highway 28 and at a distance of 10 kms from Gorakhpur railway station, and 12 km from Gorakhpur Airport.

Buddha Institute of Technology also abbreviated as BIT is a good technical institution. It offers great education environment along with soft skill enhancement and personality development. BIT has an excellent infrastructure with a very good pool of experienced facilities. College atmosphere is quite positive. The infrastructure of the college is nice. There are separate building for each department. It's a lush green campus. It is situated near the city. Quite good number of faculty is availab

Admission to B.Tech Through Entrance Examination & Candidates who have passed intermediate of U.P. board or (10 + 2) from other board with Physics & Mathematics along with any one of Chemistry / Bio Technology / Computer Science / Biology are eligible for admission to first year of 4 year B. Tech. course. Minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Maths at 10+2 level (any board) OR rank in GBTU
