About College
Barpeta college was established on 7th September 1978, with a view of spreading the light of higher education among the womens of the district. It is the only women’s higher degree college in the region . The college has been through to many ups and downs in the last 32 years. The college was accredited was NAAC in 2004.
- The college campus is situated in the Satra Nagari barpeta.
- The college has a campus of 7 acres of the landed property
Missions and Goals:
The mission & goals of this institution, other than the generation and transmission of knowledge, are to spread higher education to the women of the rural and semi-urban populace of the region with a view to making them good, honest, responsible and worthy citizen of the country.
