Bansal Institute of Engineering & Technology is managed by Bansal Educational Trust founded in the year 2008 and registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 with an aim of providing quality technical education.. The Bansal Institute of Engineering & Technology  is located on the main 120ft. NH-24, Lucknow- Sitapur Highway and is 2km from UP Technical University & 15 km from Lucknow Railway station

• There is separate hostel for girls and boys
• Boys hostel can accommodate 400 students while girls hostel has the capacity of 100 students

Festivals:

• Srijan’14- It is the annual cultural festival of the college which includes events like singing, dancing etc

Scholarship:

• Student obtaining 1st position in GBTU is reimbursed the full tuition fees for the year+ Merit certificate
• Student securing up to 10  Position in GBTU is reimbursed One semester Fee+ Merit Certificate
• Student obtaining 1st position in the class with 80% or more marks (without PCP/PWG) is awarded with Rs 10001+ Merit Certificate
• Student attending highest number of classes (more than 95%) is awarded Prize and Certificate
• Student having Best Conduct (Based on human values) is awarded Prize and Certificate
