About College

Amrapali Institute of Technology & Science (AITS) is the constituent institute of Amrapali Group of institutions. It was established in 2006 as the newest member of the group. The Amrapali group was established in 1999 as a single institute but now it has grown into a group of institutes. AITS is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University and all the courses are approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

• AITS is located in Nainital District of Uttarakhand and it is the first affiliated and approved technical institute of Kumaun region
• AITS offers Bachelor of Technology course in five discipline and diploma in two branches of engineering
• All the Amrapali Institutes have tie-ups with various industry leaders, to provide students opportunities for gaining value-added certifications that they can acquire with their regular course.
• AITS has a placement cell which provides excellent placement facility to the students
• AITS has the excellent infrastructure including specious classrooms, modern labs and the well-stocked library provide a solid foundation for excellence in academics.

Computing Facilities- Entire campus is inter-connected through a highly secured Virtual Private Network, where over 1,000 PCs are inter-connected to the internet through broadband connection. The campuses has state-of-the-art computer center that provides computing facilities.

Seminar Halls- AITS provides 9 seminar halls facility, each with a seating capacity for 150 people that act as a common ground for students, faculty, and corporate personalities 

Laboratories- It has over more than 70 state-of-the-art labs as per the norms of AICTE and affiliating University.
