Akshaya Institute of Technology, Tumkur was established in 2003 under Akshaya Education Trust. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognised by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Karnataka. The mission of the institute is to provide an experience that inspires students to reach the highest level of accomplishment and personal growth throughout their lives.
