Adi Shankara Institute of Engineering and Technology (ASIET), was establisheon 31^st August 2001. It is a self-financing college, situated in Kalady, in Ernakulam District of Kerala.

• ASIET is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam.
• This institution received ISO 9001-2000 certification for the quality systems from KPMG quality registrar in the year 2002 and upgraded to ISO 9001-2008 in 2012.
• The college is run by ADI Sankara Trust, a registered trust which has carved a niche in educational arena by running Sree Sankara College and Sree Sarada Vidyalaya.

Events:

• Onam celebration: This festival is celebrated with lots of energy and was the first event that was newly sworn by college union. Competitions like pookalam contest, sundariku pottukuttal, meet the maveli, appam kadi contest etc.
• Union day: The official day of inauguration of the college union.
• Freshers day: The day is kept aside for welcoming new students of the college and also to break ice with them.
• Vertical activities & Horizontal activities: These days will be earmarked to organise branch wise and batch wise competitions.
• Arts:  College arts fest enables the best talents to come forward in time for the M.G. university arts fest and organized for two days.
• Technical symposium: Comprising of workshops, exhibitions etc. This event will serve as the curtain raiser for BRAHMA 2012.
• BRAHMA 2012: It is the national level technical and cultural fest take place in February.
• College day: A grand finale to the academic year, this will comprise of cultural events performed by the students of the college.

• Adi Shankara College Library dedicates the space for spiritual learning and thinking of the great philosopher Adi Shankara.
• Library has an excellent collection of materials to support the mission, educational, goals and research needs of students, staff and administration.
• A good collection of video lecturers from IIT s & IIM s are available in the library.
