Army Institute of Nursing (AIN), Guwahati was incepted to cater to the education needs of the children of Army personnel and ex army servicemen. The institute aims at preparing the students for the profession in health care. Its objective is to prepare skilled and knowledgeable nurses. Emphasis is laid on nurturing ethical, intellectual and moral values as well. The campus is situated in a green and quiet environment.

Why to Join Army Institute of Nursing (AIN), Guwahati-

  • Experience- In order to gain clinical experience the students of AIN are sent to 151 Base hospital and Guwahati Medical College Hospital.  Similarly they are sent to super specialised hospitals. The community health experience is gained at Azara Primary Health Centre and Rani Rural Health Centre.
  • Placement- The students of AIN have been placed in Tata Medical Centre, Medica Superspeciality Hospital Kolkata, GNRC Hospital Guwahati, Rockland Hospital New Delhi,  Manipal Hospital Sikkim, B M Birla Heart Research Centre Kolkata, Apollo Hospital, Fortis Hospital, Marwari Hospital as well as for Short Service Commission in the Military Nursing Service.
