Overview Information
About College
KL Deemed to be University was established as KL College of Engineering in 1980-81. It was formerly known as Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF), located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. In 2006, KL College of Engineering awarded as Autonomous by UGC, and in 2009 awarded as Deemed to be University by UGC, MHRD Govt.of India.
The institute is located in a 100 acre campus site adjacent to Buckingham Canal of Krishan river.

ZROTRIYA: ZROTRIYA is a two days techncal fest conducted by ECE department, Students participated activities like paper & poster presentation, technical workshop, ROBO race, Magic Show and many more.
Samyak: Samyak is an annual technical festival.
Surabhi: Surabhi is an annual cultural festival.
Scholarship: KL Deemed to be University offers merit base scholarship for Engineering programs.

KL Deemed to be University campus is sprawling in 100 acres and aptly named "Green Fields".

Campus has a state of art Indoor Auditorium with capacity of 1500. It has also an open-air auditorium with capacity of 4500. |

Campus has many state of art air conditioned Seminar halls and Conference Halls with capacity of 400, 380x5, 250x4, 180, 550, 60, 60 each. |

Class rooms are well-ventilated and spacious, equipped with all modern facilities like, audio-visuals, PPTs, and Interactive Modules. |

Institute has state of art data centre with equipped advanced servers and hardware and software configuration. Campus wide network is established with Hi speed Fibre Optic backbone. |

Campus has state of art well equipped laboratory for each department for conducting advanced Research. |

The library is a three story building with a rich collection of one lakh and fifty thousand books, and five hundred hard copy of periodicals,21,300 electronic journal titles, academic databases and about 30 lakhs eBooks which includes World E-Books Collection. |

Hostel |
Campus provides Nine hostels facility separate for boys (7) and girls (2). Accommodation provides on Single, Twin, Triple and Four sharing AC & non-AC rooms. Suite rooms also available. Dining hall serves appetizing and hygienic food. |

Medical |
Campus has full-fledged health centre with all the facilities (three doctors (Homoeopathy, Ayurvedic & Allopathy). Ambulance facility is also available round the clock for any emergencies. |

Cafeteria |
Campus has a central cafeteria (of 1500 Sq.m.) with latest equipment and hygienic environment which provides quality food and Mini cafes and fast-food centres are available in various blocks. It provides a wide variety of North-Indian and South-Indian cuisine. Timing for cafeteria is 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. |
