About College

Sidho Kanho Birsha University (SKBU) was established in the year 2010 by West Bengal Government under Sidho-Kanho-Birsha University Act XII, 2010 passed in West Bengal State Legislature. It is fully funded by Government of West Bengal. It is located at Ranchi Road, Purulia Dist. West Bengal. It is named after three Tribal Leaders who fought against British Government by starting a revolution of Anti-British Nationalist Movement.
