The LV Prasad Eye Institute at Hyderabad promises to provide fair and efficacious services to all parts of our society. The institute plays the vanguard role in research and offers holistic care and cure to its patients. It works in close association with WHO as a Collaborative Centre for averting blindness. Various community outreach services are rendered by them like rehabilitation and rural eye care programs that benefit the backward areas of the country. With the help of its farsighted research, it has helped to ameliorate various eye related problems in over sixteen countries and eighteen different states of India. It has delivered valuable services to around eighteen million patients across the globe and more than half of the patients have enjoyed these services without spending a dime. LVPEI is a noble venture with world class services and all-round care, coalesced into a single unit of pride. Training is also provided and the students are currently employed as eye care professionals in different parts of India as well as the world. The creative idea of an Eye Health Pyramid is embraced as a standard by the Indian Government. LVPEI has served our nation in multiple ways for the last 27 years and is continuing its journey, gloriously, towards improvement and more self-discovery.
