Admission in MBBS course is based on ranks obtained in the EAMCET (Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test) and to PG courses is based on AP medical post-graduation test
The hospital has 1200 beds and performs about 80,000 outpatient consultations and 42,000 inpatient admissions yearly
The college is recognized by Medical Council of India since 1956
The college introduced MD (General Medicine) in the year 1977
