BIMIT imparts teaching of undergraduate, postgraduate and super-specialty courses and fellowships and allied branches of medical scienceThe aim of the college is to support, organize and encourage clinical and basic research programmes and to relate to diagnosis and treatment of diseases. BIMS organizes training programmes in diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and research in diseases with a stress on preventive aspects in the community. It is associated with Government District Teaching Hospital of 100 beds strength
