Basaveshwara Medical College & Hospitalwas started up in 2000 by the management of Sri JagadguruMurugharajendraVidyapeetha Trust, Chitradurga. The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India & is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
