Kamla Nehru College of Pharmacy was founded by Amar Sewa Mandal, a well-known education society which was itself founded by Late Shri Govindraoji Wanjari. The college was started in 1984. The College building was inaugurated at the hands of Late Shri Rajiv Gandhiji on 12 September 1984. The college offers undergraduate and post graduate courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, Home Science etc. the college is accredited (Grade A) by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), New Delhi. The college is spread over an area of 4000 sq mts.
The College is located off National Highway No. 7. The state transports as well as city buses are very frequent on the roads The College is well connected by rail and air also.College is affiliated to Rashtrasanta Tukadoji Maharaj, Nagpur University, Nagpur.
