About College

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune (IISER Pune) is an autonomous public research university established in 2006. It is one of the seven Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research and was one of the first IISERs to be established along with IISER Kolkata. It is located in Pune, Maharashtra.

IISER Pune offers integrated master programs (BS-MS), an integrated doctoral program (Int. Ph.D.), and a doctoral program (Ph.D.).

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune was ranked 25 overall in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2020.

In the 2020 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, IISER Pune is ranked among the top 800 globally and ranked 10 in India
