Manoharbhai Patel Post Graduate College of Art Commerce and Science is one of the institute established by the Gondia Education Society. The institute was established in the year 1968. The college offers several programs in the field of commerce, science and arts. The college is affiliated to the R.T.M. Nagpur University, Nagpur and is accredited with grade B++ by NAAC, Bangalore. The college is also study centre for the Yeshwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, Nashik.  The college has excellent infrastructure with essential facilities. The faculty members of the college are qualified and have relevant experience in their respective field.

 The college has a well stocked library. The library has good collection of books and is computerized using current software. It has 4 different sections for circulation section, reference section, Journals & traditional science section and reading hall. It has about 1200 CDs, 10 newspapers and also subscribed to about 12 magazines for staff and students.

The college provides scholarships for the backward class and to the economically weak group through GOI. The college also offers other scholarship like national scholarship, open merit scholarship, political sufferers scholarship and many others
