About College

Yashwantrao Chavan Law College, Pune was established in the academic year of 2000-2001.The mission of the college is to pioneer high quality education and inculcating social as well as cultural and ethical values in the students so that they can emerge as socially good and professionally sound and competent citizens. Distribution of knowledge and laws and to promote legal awareness of the laws in the rural areas has been the prime aim of the college. It does so by providing equal opportunities to students to reach his/ her highest professional capability. The college strives to create a fine bond of capable young lawyers driven by a great thrust of knowledge and provide social justice to the poorest of the poor. The institute also conducts legal aid camps & legal awareness programmes to motivate their students to understand their social responsibilities in the society and to know the ground realities of rural life.

      Admission in this college candidates must have General Category- 45% marks / 40% marks for SC/ST at the Graduate level degree course or equivalent course completed from any recognized university. The admission procedure is based on LAWCET entrance exam & merit based.
