Shree L. R. Tiwari College of Engineering, Thane was established in 2010 under Rahul Education Group. It is affiliated to University of Mumbai. It is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institute. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and recognized by Directorate of Education, Government of Maharashtra. Within the first year of its existence it has become one of the most sought-after engineering colleges in the extended western suburbs of Mumbai. The objective of the college is to impart need-based and application-oriented technical education. The nearest railway station to reach campus is Mira Road and approximate distance from the station is 3.5 kms.

The internship experience is good I enjoyed the days of my colleges. The placement is also provided by college. There so many companies were come in my college for placements. The job opportunity is also good and 65 students were placed in 2014.
